Summary:

The FHA and VA Foreclosure Manager will ensure that the Foreclosure Department is running efficiently with regard to processes, procedures and metrics. Directly manages Foreclosure Representatives/Administrators in project monitoring, performance evaluations, goal setting and all other personnel matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages the oversight of the team responsible for FHA, VA, and USDA foreclosures

  • Ensures that “First Legal” is hit on time, 100% of the time

  • Hires, coaches, and develops employees

  • Ensures that process documentation is complete and accurate

  • Acts as a liaison with the loss mitigation team as well as attorney/agency network managers

  • Develops new and maintains existing dashboards and metrics for foreclosure processes

  • Uses reporting to manage the team and makes changes to reporting when necessary

  • Provides detailed reporting on foreclosure processes under management which will aid in fine tuning the existing programs

  • Works closely with our internal audit team as well as our compliance team

  • Reviews audit reports with team for training purposes

  • Act as a SME for Foreclosure process on the government loan portfolio
  • Oversight of state and federal foreclosure regulations (CFPB,SCRA, RESPA & FCRA)
  • Direct interaction with servicers, investors, insurers and internal departments to ensure proper foreclosure oversight

Qualifications/Skills:

  • At least 7 years of foreclosure or other mortgage servicing related experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in servicing foreclosures

  • At least 3 years of experience in servicing FHA foreclosures

  • In depth knowledge required of FHA, USDA and VA servicing rules

  • Working knowledge of HUD conveyance and extension process

  • Knowledge of the GNMA scorecard and tier rating system is a plus

  • Project management and problem-solving skills

  • Strong reporting skills, familiarity with the LPS Desktop system, including the ability to pull data and analyze it in order to build stronger legal programs

  • Excellent Process Management and Organizational skills

  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

  • Six Sigma training is a plus

  • Knowledge of SFDMS reporting system and FHA Connections is essential

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience required
