Summary:

The Human Resources Generalist will provide professional level Human Resources support to management in the areas of Talent Acquisition, Employee Onboarding, and HRIS.  He/She will also provide support for ad hoc HR projects and assist with various Employee Relations Initiatives.


Responsibilities:
  • Create and distribute weekly reports
  • Be available to complete New Hire Orientation and Benefits, as needed
  • Process termination paperwork
  • Maintain employee personnel files
  • Assist with employee relations, as needed
  • Provide recruiting support to corporate recruiters
  • Assist with ad hoc HR initiatives or projects as directed by the HR manager
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and administration of Human Resources policies and procedures
  • Assist in the revision of the employee handbook
  • Assists on special projects as requested
 
Qualifications/Skills:
  • Minimum of 2-4 years in Human Resources
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with both internal/external sources at all different levels
  • Time management and multi-tasking skills, such as prioritizing, organizing, and tracking details
  • Ability to orally communicate effectively with both internal and external contacts
  • Portray courtesy and cooperation when partnering with departments and management team
  • Ability to analyze and problem solve
  • Ability to influence management and employees in the proper adherence to human resources plans and procedures
  • Relies on experience and judgment to guide future planning and accomplish goals
  • Advance computer skills, including MS Office proficiency
  • Experience working in a face past office environment including direct telephone contact required
  • Team player but also has the ability to work independently
 
Educational Requirements:
  •  Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Human Resources Management, or Business Administration is preferred
