Summary:

 

Manage all aspects of the inbound Loan Transfer team and process. Ensure all loan transfers are completed according to existing processes and procedures; establish consistent transfer procedures where they are needed. Establish, maintain and enforce SLA’s within the group. In collaboration with the Senior Director, perform supervisory duties such as goal setting and tracking, PTO management, coaching, weekly meetings with direct reports, staff development, etc. Constantly improve processes to ensure all transfers occur swiftly and accurately. Act as the accountable party for all loan transfers from start to finish.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Loan Transfer personnel regarding day to day operations, workload, hiring, training/development, goal setting and tracking, ensuring adequate coverage with PTO & on-call rotations. Ensure productivity of employees and foster positive company culture of dedication & accountability

  • Maintain and improve processes within the groups to ensure maximum efficiency of the staff and other company resources.

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the Inbound Deal Management team

  • Manage the team insuring the department is responding to emails both internally and externally timely

  • Review the department SLA reporting insuring it is updated timely and is accurately reporting the status of the department

  • Follow all procedures and policies for the documenting and handling of support (incident and request) cases. This includes meeting established SLA’s, following all established security policies, accurate and timely logging of support tickets.

  • Serve as the lead for responding to compliance and legal for servicing transfer related issues

  • Act as an initial escalation point for both internal and external transfer related questions

  • Perform regular reviews of process, document, and data needs of the business related to all inbound servicing transfer activities

  • Ensure the group is meeting the needs of the business and recommend changes as necessary

  • Proactively update senior management of servicing transfer statuses on all new transfers and future transfers

  • Present KPI and performance results to SMS management team in the monthly operations review meeting

  • Perform all duties of a Deal Manager for the transfers personally assigned to you
  • Other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • 6-8 years of mortgage experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of SQL or equivalent language
  • Experience managing multiple, concurrent / simultaneous projects
  • Advanced Excel skills, strong math skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Statistical and analytical abilities

Educational Requirements:

  • College or university degree in the field of Business, Data Analysis, computer science, process improvement, project management, etc. or significant experience in the field

     

    Work Schedule & Travel

  • Typical work schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:00 – 5:00 with some minor flexibility

  • Certain after hours/weekend support may be necessary for projects or high business volume situations

  • After hours/ weekend email monitoring

  • Up to 10% travel to other company locations for projects, training, etc.
